How long do they last?
This will depend on several factors, the biggest one is how well you maintain your lashes. To maintain your lashes, fill appointments are necessary every 2 to 4 weeks to replace the lash set that have shed or outgrown naturally. We always advise that after the initial set of extensions a fill should be done at 2 weeks as they may have lost or shed more than normal due to the time of their shed cycle.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Prior to your appointment please remove all eye makeup or mascara.
If you wear contact lenses please bring case and solution to place your contacts in during the procedure. You can put your contacts back in when finished.
Note: Eyelash extensions are great for special occasions, daily wear, people of all ages, and for both men and women.
How long does a lash application take?
The application of a full set of eyelash extensions typically takes between one and three hours, depending on how many extensions are desired or needed.
What are the lashes made of?
Eyelash extensions are made of a premium synthetic material called PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). PBT is a synthetic semi-crystalline engineered thermoplastic or is a thermoplastic engineering polymer.
How are lashes applied?
Your Lash Professional will use formaldehyde-free, professional eyelash extension adhesive to apply a single faux eyelash to each of your natural lashes (or a custom made fan of several lashes in the case of a Volume Lash set). The size of each extension will be selected and custom matched to each natural lash to ensure that it is a safe length and weight for the natural lash that it is being applied to. Your Lash Pro is trained to create a custom design specific for your natural lashes and desired outcome
Can I still wear makeup?
Mascara and Eyeliner are not recommended as the oils can break down the bonds of the adhesive. If you are wearing eyeshadows or liners, proper cleansing is imperative.
